Restarting the Dukan diet. Kind of.

The Dukan diet helped me lose A LOT of weight. At least 2.5 stone. After that I decided to lose weight the healthier way.
Now that I have lost 4 and a half stone, The last 7-10lbs are not budging.
I have decided to do a dukan attack phase for 3 days (making sure I consume a LOT of water) and going into the cruise phase for 2 weeks.
It is my birthday soon and I'd like to reach my target before then. Wish me luck!

Should I try Dukan again?

If you have been following my blog for a while, you will know I was doing the Dukan diet. In combination with the fact that it made me lose a LOT of weight quickly and the fact that I wasn't eating enough...I suffered health problems (nothing too bad) and I stopped.
Now I am 10.1 stone and wish to lose 10lbs more (I currently weigh 64kilos and 141 lbs for confused people)
I have lost 2lbs in the past 2/3 weeks which sucks! It is my birthday in a month and I am desperate for a kick start!
Shall I do a week of fierce dukaning to restart my diet? What do you think?

I wear a UK size 12...but I feel like I look bigger?! (Pictures)

Hello all. Just thought I'd update you.
So I finally fit into UK size 12 trousers (that'a a 8-10 in the US? but I'm not sure)
... Sometimes I find myself buying small dresses too!
This may sound all happy and dandy, but for some reason I feel like I look bigger. I'm sure you guys will agree with me in these pictures. Can anyone explain why I look in the mirror and see something bigger than the size I am wearing?

Skinny Jeans/Weight Loss update.

I have always loved skinny jeans...but have never owned a proper pair. Being a UK size 18/20 I had always worn skinny jeans but they never looked skinny, obviously because I didn't have the right frame for them.
I reached 10.3 stone today which is a HUGE milestone for me. I was stuck at 10.8 at Christmas and the weight would not shift. I think it might be to do with the fact that I started a new job and some pounds decided to drop!
I want to squeeze myself into a UK size 12 but I might be pushing it. Hopefully I can get to under 10 stone soon so I can try...

Losing 2lbs is progress...right?

Today I hopped on the scales after 3 days on my period and some extra dieting. It looks like I have lost 2ish lbs! It was playing on 10.5 and 10.6... so I will see where that balances tomorrow.
Yesterday I was so frustrated by my weight loss stall, I thought I was going to stay at 10.7 forever. I thought to myself, If I went from 14.8 to 10.7 in 6 months...I can surely go further.
Motivation is back! I hope I get into the 9's soon.

Fresh start.

As some of you may know I lost 4 stone since June 2011. I was hoping to reach my ideal weight for my height by March. So that means 1 or 1 and a half stone.
However, it sucks to be me right now since my weight loss has halted. No, before anyone asks, I am not at the ideal weight for my height. I am still overweight for my small 5'4 frame.

I have decided that starting from tomorrow I am going to do a weeks Kick Start. I will be eating similar meals to that which I ate during Dukan but include more of a variety. I think that's where I went wrong.

I am currently a UK size 14 in trousers and a 12 in tops/dresses. Not bad...certainly better than a size 20 that I was.
By March I want to lose another size. 12 on bottom and 10 on top. That's my ideal! Wish me luck.

A: Thanks! I am not following the Dukan diet anymore. This is how I am calculating my target weight. For someone my height, you have to be between 8-10 stone. I am currently at 10.8 which is slightly overweight. I want to get to about 9 or 9 and a half as it is the midway point.
Regarding the pictures, I have mentioned in other posts that people in my family have very narrow frames and we often look smaller than what we are. I just need to find a new diet to kick start my weight loss again :)

I'M BACK! 4 stone lost! 10.8 stone.

Hello all...

Forgive me! after a brief break from blogger I am now back. I have lost 10lbs since you guys last saw me and it has taken AGES.
I have one more stone to lose and it is not coming off let me tell you that. I am clueless as to how I should lose this last stone. I am currently slightly over the maximum weight for my height at 10.8 stone. I wish to get to 9.7 to 9.3 stone. Why must the last hurdle be so difficult :(

Any tips?
